Claim Finder Form

The goal here was to give both customers and non-customers a way of searching for an unclaimed life insurance policy. We first ask for them to give us a little information to ensure they are a beneficiary of an unclaimed policy. If they are, they will receive an email with instructions on how to access that policy. If they are not listed anywhere in our system as a beneficiary, they will not receive any information. I was able to not only contribute as a content designer but also as a product designer.

StateFarm.com FAQ redesign

I worked on this with a group of designers and architects. My main goal as the content designer was to simplify the content and present it in a consise and digestible way.  When approaching these "FAQ" pages, I knew that customers wouldn't be coming to this part of the website unless they need specific help. Questions I asked myself were: "Is the content relevant to the question?" "Could this content be of better use under a different question or maybe at a different location on the page?"

I was able to show the information in a way that caught the eye and used a good amount of real estate on the page. The information could be hidden if not needed. I trimmed down the content and combined a few different sections. I also used bullet points to break up the paragraph form content.
